Welcome to the Castlebar Golf Club website. This is a very exciting time for Castlebar Golf Club. 2010 is our Centenary year and we have a full calendar of events to celebrate this.. The emphasis throughout the year will be on fun for all, member and visitor alike, with a mixture of competitions and social events for all the family.
Castlebar Golf Club extends a warm welcome to all visitors. In our club you will find a friendly atmosphere, where you can enjoy a game of golf on our parklands course followed by a delicious home-cooked meal in our clubhouse. |

Castlebar Golf Club played in the zone final of the 2010 Connaught Shield on Monday 30th August against Swinford Golf Club.
With 2 matches in Castlebar and 3 in Swinford this was always going to be a tough one for Castlebar.
Despite great fighting golf from the Castlebar team, Swinford prevailed on the night winning 3.5 to 1.5. Congratulations to the Swinford team and best wishes in the Connaught semi-final and well done to the Castlebar team - Brendan Frost & Michael Waldron, Padraig Hurst & Colin Dawson, Ioseph McGowan & David Molloy, Kieran Horkan & John McHale and Eamon Mongan & Val Jennings and not forgetting the team captain, Dom Molloy. |

The official launch of Castlebar Golf Clubs Centenary book took place in the clubhouse on Friday June 25th. The book is packed full of information about the founding of the club and its growth through the years into the fine course, clubhouse and club we have today. 2010 Cups & Shields National Finals |

Having successfully hosted the Connaught Provincial Finals of the 2010 Cups & Shields, Castlebar Golf Club is now looking forward with pride and anticipation to hosting the National Finals of the 2010 Cups & Shields. 5 Teams from each province of Ireland will converge on Castlebar Golf Club from September 13th through 18th to compete in the Barton Shield, the Irish Senior Cup, the Irish Junior Cup, the Jimmy Bruen Shield and the Pierce Purcell Shield.
