Phyxers @ Castlebar Golf Club

Monday evenings from April through September is Phyxers night for golfers whose handicap is 18 or greater. It is a very popular grouping with great numbers playing. The 2011 Phyxer Captain is Gerard O'Malley and he has a full calendar of events planned for the year, culminating in his Phyxer Captain's Prize on 12^th August.
Beginners Lessons Beginners are welcome to play in the competition every Monday night and if they do not have club handicap, they will be allocated a handicap of 20 for Phyxers Competition only. Phyxer Captain , Gerry O'Malley is currently organising introductory Golf Lesson for Beginners with Aidan Moran at Castlebar Driving Range and will contact all Beginners once date is confirmed by Aidan.	New Phyxer Captain After the completion of Gerry O'Malley's Phyxer Captains Prize, the new Phyxer Captain, Liam Burke was installed. He thanked all in the Phyxers and stated that the Monday Phyxer competitions would continue on through September.
