Castlebar Golf Club is a members club, with the focus firmly and permanently on the member, with a huge range of activities throughout the year to help the member get the most from his or her membership and game.
From the ever popular Winter League, running from October to March each year, to weekend competitions, mid-week competitions all geared toward different abilities, match-play competitions including mixed ones as well as frequent social events. 
Facilities are in place also to facilitate practice and game improvement, including a full-size practice putting green as well as a separate practice area for iron play including a practice chipping and pitching green with practice bunkers.
The clubhouse is spacious and modern, with locker rooms and changing rooms as well as shower areas.  Catering is provided by Joey McDonnell with an extensive menu of freshly cooked dishes at very reasonable prices!
Castlebar Golf Club has a range of membership types to suit all requirements, including a special beginners membership as well as a "Distant Outside Connaught" membership, and of course the Ordinary membership and junior and student memberships.
Furthermore, in these difficult economic times to make it easier to pay the annual fees Castlebar Golf Club has in place an easy instalment option for subscriptions, allowing the member to pay by 12 monthly instalments via direct debit should the member choose!
