The Ladies Inter-Club season got off to a great start on Wednesday with the Miele Fourball team scoring a dramatic win over Ballinrobe. The 4 Fourball matches ended with 2 wins each & an aggregate of 5 “Holes up” for each team- Carmel Moran &Margaret Tighe (winning 3-up away) & Derval Molloy & Bernie Burke (winning 2-up at home). This resulted in a play-off with the lowest handicapped home pairing of MaryRose McNulty & Evelyn Brady ensuring a home win with a birdie from MaryRose on the 1st play-off hole. Sheila Baynes & Nicola Sheridan were the other pairing playing in Ballinrobe but were beaten by a very strong home pairing.
