Castlebar Golf Club - Welcome!

Welcome to the Castlebar Golf Club website. This is a very exciting time for Castlebar Golf Club. 2010 is our Centenary year and we have a full calendar of events to celebrate this.. The emphasis throughout the year will be on fun for all, member and visitor alike, with a mixture of competitions and social events for all the family. 
Castlebar Golf Club extends a warm welcome to all visitors. In our club you will find a friendly atmosphere, where you can enjoy a game of golf on our parklands course followed by a delicious home-cooked meal in our clubhouse.
 
2010 Cups & Shields Provincial Finals

Castlebar Golf Club is very proud to be hosting the 2010 Provincial Finals of the Cups & Shields on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th August!  With the top teams in the province competing to represent Connaught in the All-Ireland Finals in September (Also in Castlebar!) there is sure to be some great golf played and will be a great spectacle.

The Competitions involved are:

Jimmy Bruen Shield

2010 Centenary Book

The official launch of Castlebar Golf Clubs Centenary book took place in the clubhouse on Friday June 25th. The book is packed full of information about the founding of the club and its growth through the years into the fine course, clubhouse and club we have today.  The book is available from the Golf Club at only €10!  Order your piece of history today!
 
2010 Open Week

Castlebar Golf Club is very proud that it held County Mayo's first ever open week in 1957 and this has been run every year since! The 2010 Centenary Year Open Week runs from Monday, 19th July through Sunday 25th July 2010, with competitions to suit all, including foursomes, fourballs and singles!
